Strategies to improve self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and personal growth are shared to help readers evolve into their best, authentic selves.

“Authenticity is a collection of choices that we make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen. “


An Authentic life is when everything aligns in a beautiful divine sequence. It is when life aligns with our actions. It is when all of our needs are met, we are fulfilled and satisfied, and we have a revelation and experience self actualization and flourish in while being present. Following our passion and being in tune with our natural abilities, our strengths and our talents.


Our authentic selves go beyond our possessions, careers, and who we are and how we show up in others lives. It delves deeper into the deepest core of us. It is a very delicate balance between us internally and externally. How we handle ourselves within and how we represent and express that with our actions. Are we living an authentic life as your authentic self? If this is a question you genuinely don’t know how to answer that is quite alright. I will be sharing strategies to help you improve, grow and evolve to the best version of yourself.


Define and embrace strengths- When we define our strengths we are tapping into our warrior selves. Narrowing down our strengths gives up the ability to overcome and provide a sense of fearlessness.


Explore values- Self reflect and identify your core values. Knowing your core values will keep you truthful and grounded.


Acknowledge external and internal influences- To really know our self-concept we need to understand and define what influences us. Acknowledgement to both will help you maximize your growth. Take a look at our feelings and thoughts-positive or negative? Create a positive support plan to help counteract any negative thoughts or fears. Once we check in with ourselves internally, then we can reflect on the external factor. If we are easily influenced by negativity then we will have a negative self-direction. If we are easily influenced by positivity then we will be shaped into our authentic selves.


Notice and name emotions- Reflect and recognize emotions whether good or bad. When we are able to identify and name our emotions, we are allowing ourselves to be in present, in present feelings, in present thoughts and from there we are able to adjust our behavior and reframe and accept how we are feeling. This will also allow you to be more empathic because we are able to use our core feelings and to be more empathetic towards others. Normalizing our feelings and using them as a motivator.


Step back and gain perspective- Exactly that- step back and gain perspective. Taking a step back will allow you to get clarity through reflection and strategic thought. Stepping back with awareness will help you self-reflect on your past to find any imperative gaps that will be viewed differently for a better outcome.


Personal inventory- personal inventory will help us take responsibility for our actions, accept ourselves for who we are, identify changes and focus on areas of improvement.


Taking it back to our core self, our core values, our truth and self-worth is living the authentic life.
